Service Disconnection

When demolishing a residential or commercial property you must isolate and disconnect the utility services before work can commence. This is to make safe the property for demolition and those involved working onsite.

The most common service disconnections are water and electricity, however they can also include gas, telephone lines, Foxtel and NBN.

As part of our demolition service, we include disconnection of electricity, water, stormwater and sewer in our quote. Electricity is disconnected from mains by a Level 2 electrician. Water disconnection is carried out by a licensed plumber with a hose tap capped off at the metre.

Upon completion of the demolition, we provide you with a letter confirming completion of demolition, which includes the details of both the Level 2 electrician and plumber for reconnection.
